Infinite possibilities!
All of us of course, have some kind idea of what we want — more money, more love, a bigger house, more freedom. However, we should also empower our minds to create results for us, therefore we need to be much more specific.Isn’t it that when we decide upon particular goal, most do so with the expectation and intention of achieving them. And, the motivation and enthusiasm to achieve our goal is usually very high.We take the appropriate actions to achieve our goals.Setting goals is one thing… actually achieving them is something entirely different! We’ve all done it, we’ve all set goals and then at some point our goals are achieved, and we focus on making and setting other targets. Those are the things that you are most excited about, which we can really see ourselves getting committed to, those that produce passion in ourselves, that will drive us to use our resources to their fullest.
Since, I have the tendency to see each problem as an opportunity for growth; it should be quite easy to achieve my set goals and aspirations, right?Well, not exactly though.I have confidence, but I should have much more strong confidence which would be extremely valuable whenever a major problem comes along.Even more importantly, I should really have that same confidence enabling me to reach whatever goals I have had and would still set for myself.I believe that for every minor annoyance that I quickly and successfully handle will strengthen my confidence.Since I’m already in the habit of moving forward each and every time through the little challenges that I almost always encounter in life, there is that certain force that serves me well when the big challenges arrive.I believe almost always that every small problem provide me with a way to increase my positive momentum.
I listed most of the important resources that I have at my disposal to achieve my goals. I have strengths, skills, education, time, financial resources, friends — everything I already have going which is my weapon and tools to accomplish what I want. But, these aren’t gonna be really that easy though.Well, I always go by the adage, “To think is to Create” so therefore most especially after the series of FLEX, ALC, and LEAP that I have undergone, achieving my goals are all that easy to me now.Conquered my fears and my dragons, so to speak.
You know, I’ve always been the world’s greatest procrastinator. Before, I’ve never even sat down to make any lists, nor write goals. But then, I realized that first comes the vision, then next the venture. After which, the beginning of my ascent, or the mere accomplishment of the goals. So, I started dreaming my visions.Living myself as I project it.Putting my dreams’ list of steps on how to achieve these, and now I find myself actually doing those things because I’m uncomfortable not doing it.You know, the ultimate goal is doing my best and enjoying it, and believe me, I am enjoying myself.
There are countless things that I would still want to do.It wouldn’t matter how long I am gonna be able to attain it, but what I am are willing to do to achieve them.I would make magnificent promises, I can make infinite excuses, I can set goals, and I can make impressive plans. But, it all comes down to what I am willing to do, where I am willing to take myself, and how I am willing to live it…
Let me start then to enumerate my target goals and dreams for 2009, and passionately willing to and longingly strive hard, if not harder to achieve them.
As they said, charity begins at home. For me, I would first focus on our family and home.It only goes to show that I should be more mindful to whatever is happening there and more concerned about what is going on.Not to mention, maintain the cleanliness of it.Clean out the extra rooms to be able to accommodate guests.Have a garage sale to discard all clothes out dated and non-wearable (by me, of course!) not that they’re too old for that matter, they still have a feel to it, but losing quite a few kilos recently then, guess I wouldn’t have a need for then anymore, right? Also, repair of the fixtures, electricity and water pipes, re-arrange furniture, and design the next house that we’d be living at…well, first we would purchase the lot… but that is altogether a different story.
Next on my list, which I know is a never-ending goal, and adventure as well is to focus on my kiddo. She is quite a handful sometimes, but very intelligent, lovely, adorable and smart.I know to raise a child is difficult enough without that certain feeling that I can never, ever, make my child happy and never turn off my brain from thinking. All day long, in order to avoid mishaps and the usual tantrums, and to prevent “tampuhan”, I need to be and keep a few steps ahead. When I foresee things that might trigger a tantrum, it’s not just because it would be nice to not have to deal with meeting that but also because she deserves not to get hurt usually. As I always remind myself that she needs my help to be able to keep it together. I almost always free up her world that create anxiety making her much more at peace. That is my goal, each and every single day.
One of the greatest treasures we can ever have is knowledge. Each day is another unique opportune filled with innumerable opportunities to obtain more of it, continually learn, and to make good use of it, and that no one can ever take it away from you.I believe that the more you share what you know, then the more valuable that knowledge becomes to you. When I know what I need to learn, and know how to find it, then anything becomes possible.Achievement comes when I use my knowledge to focus my actions toward the goals that I have chosen to pursue. Each and every day, in every single situation, and every experience whether positive or negative is a learning opportunity. When I am able to use purposefully what I know and learn, then there is no limit to what I can achieve. And, that bring me to my next goal—To pass the NCLEX in flying colors.Yes, I am a nurse by profession. One of my vision is to work in the USA, the so called land of the Free. But, before I would be able to achieve that, I should first pass the licensure exam for nurses in the USA.
Third in line, would be a few minor setback in legalities.Since I am single now, I need to follow up everything and erase the memories of the past relationship in my name.As well as also to fix whatever needs to be fixed for my daughter. We need to get a VISA together, and these legalities count.Even my driving license isn’t renewed.Oh, well therefore I need to take up driving again? What the heck, I would then throw out the old car, and come 2009, I would buy the car that I have oh so long ever dreamed of driving (next to the one we currently have though)… A classic 2007 4-door Red Honda City with 13” mags on the wheels, black leather bucket seats, stereo with the fixings and the like, with my own plate number again (well, I did that with the Revo, and I guess it’s not a waste of money… pam-porma nga lang… hyuk hyuk).Well, that’s well stated… a very specific one…
Fourth, I would like to invoke me picking up the passion of writing again.Hey, joining this contest sparked my composition genes, and reviving it would be wonderful again.I still remember when I got to display my poetry around people, and even receiving prizes for them.Got to get that spark back!In time, that Moleskine would be filled with my essays, and poems again.
Fifth, is to live the life that I was meant to live… (I would not expound on this for it is only me who would understand it… hehe?)I guess, I left you hanging there, huh.
And, lastly, there are still aplenty goals that I would like to write, but I guess this would do for now…By accomplishing these goals, I would have lived my life to the fullest. It is important to live life to it’s fullest because life is too short; and you have to make your impact in life before it is to late.Remember, be willing–not just the go-with-the-flow person that I am or you are—but really, willing to and it will surely happen.
If it is to be, it is up to me.Therefore, you too can reach any goal you set out to achieve.Always remember that our true potential is limitless.Whatever you have accomplished in life up until now has only been your preparation for the still awesome and amazing things that you can accomplish in the near future.I remember, since I am very impulsive… the positive side of it is–
Just do it!
